The Custodial Engineers of the Office of Facilities Management are responsible for the daily cleaning of approximately 65,000 square feet of space at the Sheehan Center.

 

Custodial Engineers provide the following service to our customers. Please refer to the checklist link for a more detailed description of work performed.

 

• Clean and re-stock restrooms
• Emptying of trash
• Vacuum, dust, and sanitize offices.
• Use of a carpet extraction machine between October and December each year.
• Buff terrazzo floors each week
• Strip and wax terrazzo floors each year between January and March.

     

Sheehan Center employees are responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of personal work spaces i.e. desks, cabinets, shelves, computers, etc.
